An Israeli percussionist, Asaf Roth has appeared in recital in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Denver, Weimar, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Taipei, Saigon, Bangkok, Prague, Budapest, Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. During a prolonged stay in New York, Asaf took an active part in the New York City music scene, performing with jazz, pop, Latin and Brazilian ensembles as well as with the Philadelphia Virtuoso Orchestra and the Israeli Philharmonic.
In 2002, he moved back to Israel where he has been performing with the IPO and Israel Opera Orchestra, collaborating with Israeli rock and pop artists - Berry Sakarof, Shlomi Shaban, Assaf Amdursky, Rita, Eran Tzur and Minimal Compact - as well as conducting the Tel Aviv Young Symphonic Band. His duo, 'The Biting Sheep' - dance music in an electro-acoustic live setting - recently returned from a concert in Hungary.
Asaf is currently playing in the Theater play 'Getto' (Cameri theatre).
